GREEK PIZZA RECIPE
In the cuisine of the United States, Greek pizza is a type
of pizza crust and preparation where the pizza is proofed and cooked in a metal
pan rather than stretched to order and baked on the floor of pizza oven. A
shallow pan is used, unlike the deep pan used in Sicilian, Chicago or
Detroit-style pizzas.
INGREDIANTS: -
- One prebaked 12-inch pizza crust
- Half cup pizza sauce
- One teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning divided
- Two cups shredded cooked chicken breast
- One and half cups of chopped fresh spinach
- One small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- One fourth cup sliced ripe olives
- Three fourth cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- Half cup crumbled feta cheese
PREPARATION PROCEDURE: -
STEP NO 1: -
Place crust on an ungreased baking sheet, spread with pizza sauce and sprinkle with half teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning.
STEP NO 2: -
Top with chicken, spinach, onion, olives, cheese and
remaining lemon-pepper seasoning.
STEP NO 3: -
Bake at 450 degree for fifteen minutes or until edge are
lightly browned and cheese is melted.

Now it’s time to serve the pizza

Veggie Pizza: -GREEK VEGGIE PIZZA
Since I am
lactose prejudiced, I incline to stay away from dairy goods. I don’t know if
you have ever had a cheese less veggie pizza before, but they are rather delicious.
The pizza required marinara, tomatoes, crumpled garlic, spinach, olives,
onions, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms and red and green bell
peppers on top.
INGREDIANTS: -
- Half cup finely chopped seeded cucumber
- One fourth cup light sour cream
- One fourth chopped fresh dill
- One tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
- One teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- One fourth teaspoon garlic powder
- One fourth teaspoon onion powder
- Half red bell pepper which is sliced
- Half cup crumbled feta cheese
- One fourth chopped Kalamata olives
- One medium tomato which is in the form of sliced
- One eighth teaspoon of ground black pepper
- One fourth red onion which is thinly sliced
- Two tablespoon chopped fresh basil
PREPARATION PROCEDURE: -
STEP NO 1: -
Preheat the oven to 427 degrees F.
STEP NO 2: -
Stir sour cream, cucumber, dill, oregano, balsamic vinegar,
garlic powder and onion powder together in a bowl, cover and chill.
STEP NO 3: -
Discard cardboard and unwrap pizza. Home red pepper, feta
cheese and olives on upper of the pizza. Top with cut tomato and scattering
with black pepper.
STEP NO 4: -
Bake in the preheat oven until golden about 17 minutes.
STEP NO 5: -
Remove the pizza from the oven and top with red onion, basil
and Greek sauce.
STEP NO 6: -
Now it’s time to serve.
