Ingredients:
- Two and half cups all-purpose flour
- One tablespoon baking soda
- One pinch salt
- One cup white sugar
- Three fourth cup light brown sugar
- Half cup unsalted butter, softened
- Two eggs
- Four ripe bananas, mashed
- Two third cup buttermilk
- Half cup chopped walnuts
Preparation Procedure: -
Step No: - 01
Pre-heat the oven to 351 degrees F (176 degrees C). Grease
and flour two 8-inch smoothed pans.
Step NO: - 02
Stick together flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl;
set aside.
Step No: - 03
Cream white sugar, brown sugar, and butter in a large bowl till
light and fluffy. Beat well in eggs, one at a time. Mix in crushed bananas. Add
flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in sliced walnuts. Pour batter into the ready pans.
Step No: - 04
Bake in the pre-heated oven till cake springs back when
gently pressed, about 31 minutes.
Step No: - 05
Remove cake layers from the oven and keep them on a moist
tea towel to cool.
